GDF Suez Romania assigns IT contract to Hungarian company
Energy group GDF Suez Romania has assigned a contract of EUR 1.4 million (without VAT) to the Hungarian company Cason Mernoki Zrt. for the purchase of IT products and services.
The gas distributor awarded the contract on February 1 through direct negotiation. GDF Suez will finance the contract form its own funds.
“The products and services can be provided only by a particular tenderer for reasons related to the protection of exclusive rights,” according to the company, reports local Agerpres.
The contract was initially estimated at EUR 1.92 million, without VAT. The Hungarian company needs to provide software services, electronic parts, IT software packages, and maintenance of the IT system.
