Energy group Gdf Suez Energy Romania recorded last year a turnover of EUR 976.8 million, up 5% over 2013.

However, the company’s net profit dropped by 1%, to EUR 99.8 million, reports local Wall-street.ro.

The business was supported last year by the 7% increase in natural gas sales, but was pulled down by a 23% drop in electricity sales.

The company posted in 2013 a turnover of EUR 927 million and a net profit of EUR 101 million.
