Christophe De Korver has been appointed Managing Director of Gefco Romania, replacing Denis Renard, who has been at the helm of the company in Romania for the last six years. Denis Renard will take the helm of Gefco in Slovakia.

De Korver has been working with the Gefco group for the last eight years and holds 16 years of experience in the logistics field. He has been involved in the Czech republic activities since 2002 and from 2007 was a Business Unit Manager with Gefco in France.

De Korver is a Marseille University graduate, having specialized in engineering, with a post-graduate degree in economics at the ESSEC University, where he specialized in management and logistics.

Logistics company Gefco is active in 100 countries in the world and runs a EUR 3.5 billion business (data from 2008), employing 10,000 people.
