Generic drug producer Zentiva Romania, part of French pharma group Sanofi, reached a turnover of EUR 43.4 million in the first six months of the year, up 9% compared to the same period in 2015. Its net profit amounted to EUR 7.2 million, up 81% year-on-year.

Zentiva Romania had total assets of almost EUR 88 million at the end of June this year, up 1.2% compared to end-December 2015. During this period, the company’s total debts rose by 10.7% to EUR 28.4 million.

The producer is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, and its market capitalization amounts to EUR 170 million.
