Gerhard Roiss replaces Ruttenstorfer as head of OMV Petrom's supervisory board
Gerhard Roiss (in picture) is the new president of the supervisory board for oil and gas company OMV Petrom, the company has announced. Roiss will replace Wolfgang Ruttenstorfer, who has decided to step down from his CEO position with Austrian OMV, after a ten-year mandate. Roiss, former vice-president of Petrom's supervisory board, will become CEO of OMV from the beginning of April.
OMV Petrom's executive board will be made of five people, appointed for four years. Mariana Gheorghe, the company's CEO, will be president of the executive board. The other members of the board are Daniel Turnheim, chief financial officer, Johann Pleininger- responsible for exploration and production, Neil Anthony Morgan, in charge of refining and marketing, Hilmar Kroat-Reder, responsible for Gas, Power & Chemical activities.
