German group Bosch invests in educational center at Cluj factory
German group Bosch, with sales of over EUR 270 million in the local market, has started the construction of a multi-functional center within its car parts factory in Jucu, Cluj county.
The center will be dedicated to preparing students in the dual educational system. The center will have rooms for students and for the training of employees, as well as new laboratories for the research & development center.
Bosch has been a partner of the local schools within the dual educational system since 2013. This year, over 80 students in high schools and vocational schools have been trained for their careers in electro mechanics and electronics at the Bosch production units in Cluj and Blaj, said Mihai Boldijar, Robert Bosch general director.
The educational project at the Bosch factory in Jucu started in 2014 with six students. It was then expanded to another 24 students the next year.
For this school year, some 60 students have enrolled in the program.
