German company Delivery Hero, which operates the largest global network for online food ordering from over 100,000 restaurants, became a shareholder in local online food platforms Oliviera.ro and Quicky.ro.

Delivery Hero recently bought Turkish company Yemeksepeti with USD 589 million, which had a minority share in Hello Hungry, a Bulgarian company which operates in Romania the platforms Oliviera.ro and Quicky.ro.

Hello Hungry entered the Romanian market in 2014, after it acquired local platforms Oliviera.ro and Quicky.ro.

This transaction shows the trust in the potential of the Bulgarian and Romanian markets, said Vladimir Davchev, Hello Hungry founder.
