Germans from Blind Guardian to rock Bucharest again this May
The German metal band Blind Guardian will perform in Bucharest for the second time, after their 2007 concert, at the “Unu Mai Rock” event, that celebrates Labor Day in Romania on May 1. The band will be on tour promoting their new album “At the Edge of Time”, their ninth studio album. Ticket prices for the Bucharest concert, that will be held at Arenele Romane, will be of RON 95 - normal ticket and RON 125 for a VIP ticket. You can buy them here. Tickets bought the day of the concert will cost RON 110. Boltahrd and other Romanian rock bands will warm up the crowd for Blind Guardian’s performance.
Blind Guardian is a German metal band formed in the mid-1980s in Krefeld, West Germany. The band consist of Hnas Kursch (vocals), Andre Olbrich (guitar), Marcus Siepen (rhythm guitar) and Frederik Ehmke (drums).
The band's lyrics are inspired by the fiction of fantasy authors such as J. R. R. Tolkien, and Michael Moorcock, as well as traditional legends and epics.
