Romanian cosmetics producer Farmec Cluj, which produces beauty and anti-aging products under the brand Gerovital, continues expansion abroad with a third shop opening this year.

The new shop, opened by Farmec’s partner Mercatrom Alimentacion SL, is located on Carrer Provença street in Barcelona, Spain. It sells some of the newest products made at the factory in Cluj-Napoca, such as Gerovital H3 Derma+, Gerovital H3 Classic, Retinol, Gerovital H3 Evolution, and Gerovital H3 Men.

The brand store in Barcelona is the third shop the company opened abroad this year after the ones opened in spring 2015 in Menton, France, and Alexandroupoli, Greece. Last year, the company opened two stores in Greece.

The first shop opened abroad is located in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, and was inaugurated in 2003. A Farmec shop can also be found in Budapest, Hungary. In Romania, the producer runs six stores in Cluj-Napoca, Arad, Timisoara, and Targu Mures.

The company plans to continue its expansion abroad, as part of its long-term strategy. It currently sells its products to 30 countries, with main markets being Japan, Hungary, Greece, Macedonia, the Republic of Moldova, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Kuwait, and Canada.
