GfK to carry out Romania’s National Radio Audience Study

Research company GfK Romania, together with the Romanian IMAS Marketing and Research, are the official team for the country’s National Radio Audience Study - the advertising industry of analysis and monitoring instrument in Romania, according to a GfK statement.

Starting January 2012, GfK will conduct the syndicated audience research for the Radio Audience Association over a four-year period. The company will carry out 11,000 interviews per year in cities, and 3,000 in rural areas.

Recently, GfK also became the research company that will provide data on the use of print media in the next three years in Romania, by conducting the National Audience Study.

GfK Romania was founded in 1992 and is an integral part of GfK Group. In 2010, the research company reported a turnover of EUR 9.5 million in Romania.
