Palace in Eastern Romania put up for sale on classifieds website
The Ghica Palace in Comanesti town, Bacau county, was put up for sale on OLX, the largest classified platform in Romania, for some EUR 1.6 million.
The palace is a historical monument built in 1880, under the guidance of French architect Albert Galleron. It belonged to local politician and nobleman Dimitrie N. Ghica.
Ghica Palace has 22 rooms, a built area of 2,550 sqm, and a park of 74.200 sqm. According to the ad posted on OLX, the buyer will receive the park for free.
“In 2005, the "Oniga Mircea Accounting Expert Office" evaluated the Ghica-Comanesti Palace at EUR 1,621,488 and the park's land at EUR 852,872. The buyer of the palace will receive the park as a bonus,” reads the ad.
Moreover, the EUR 1.62 million price is negotiable.
