Govt. creates the Romanian Institute of Foreign Trade, which will also deal with tourism promotion
The Government decided to establish the Romanian Institute of Foreign Trade by taking over the attributions and the staff of the Department of Foreign Trade and International Relations in the Ministry of Economy, as well as the tourism promotion activities of the National Tourism Authority.
The Institute will be subordinated to the Ministry of Economy, reports local Mediafax. It will run the program of support and promotion of exports, by organizing fairs and exhibitions in the country and abroad, and it will also deal with tourism promotion.
The Institute will be led by a general manager named by the Ministry of Economy.
