The Hard Rock Cafe in Bucharest has won the Top of the Rock award for the second time. This is awarded by Hard Rock International to the restaurant with the best financial and operational results of the network. Hard Rock Café Bucharest won the prize in 2012 as well.

Midi Development SRL, the Romanian firm that operates the Hard Rock Café restaurant in Bucharest under franchise, had a turnover of EUR 2.57 million and a net profit of EUR 148,000 in 2013, according to public data from the Finance Ministry.

Its financial results, hosting a large number of live concerts, its involvement in charity events and operational performance made Hard Rock Café Bucharest one of the most successful members of the international network, next to restaurants in New Orleans and Atlanta, in the U.S., Buenos Aires in Argentina and Prague in the Czech Republic.

The prize that came with the award is a one of a kind Fender guitar, which will be displayed in the Hard Rock restaurant in Herastrau Park starting next month.
