Austrian-born Peter Mueller, who led the local subsidiary of Mondelez between 2005 and 2008, was appointed general manager of Heidi Chocolat Romania in December last year, reports Wall-street.ro.

He replaced Italian Franco Del Fabbro, who led the chocolate producer’s operations in the last three years, according to a decision published in the Official Gazette.

Mueller has an experience of 16 years within Mondelez. Between 2015 and 2016, he was global professional business president of the coffee producer Jacobs. He later founded his own consultancy business - smartegy.

Heidi Chocolat owns a production facility in Pantelimon, near Bucharest, with over 350 employees. The company posted a turnover of EUR 22 million and a net profit of almost EUR 290,000 in 2015.
