The Bucharest Airports Company will start on Wednesday, June 13, the procedures to reopen Henri Coanda airport's second runway on its full length after finalizing the reception of the revamping work carried out on this runway.

However, between June 13 and June 20, the runway will be closed for the final checks and the airport will only operate with only one runway, which may cause some delays in arrivals and departures, the airport announced, local News.ro reported.

The second runway will reopen on June 20 and will allow the airport to avoid traffic congestions in the busy summer months.
