Hidroelectrica sells EUR 11 mln worth of electricity on Romania power exchange
Romania’s largest energy producer Hidroelectrica sold electricity worth RON 50 million (some EUR 11 million) on the local power exchange OPCOM. The energy, totaling over 270,000 MWh, will be delivered between July 2014 and December 2016.
The company concluded four contracts with Entrex Services, three contracts with Electrica Distributie Transilvania Sud, and one contract each with Tinmar, Transformer Energy Supply, C-Gaz & Energy Distributie, Enel Energie and GEN-I Bucharest.
The Romanian state is the majority shareholder of Hidroelectrica. The company re-entered insolvency in February this year.
