Hotel chain Hilton will affiliate three hotels this year in Romania, in Oradea, Bucharest and Ploiesti, and also signed a management contract for a unit in Cluj-Napoca, reaching a number of seven hotels currently opened or opening in the future.

Among the hotels included in Hilton Worldwide's development plans are DoubleTree by Hilton in Oradea, DoubleTree by Hilton in Bucharest and DoubleTree by Hilton in Ploiesti. They will join Hilton Athenee Palace Bucharest and Hilton Sibiu, which are already functional.

The new unit going to be opened in Cluj, Hampton by Hilton Cluj, will be inaugurated in early 2012, will have 107 rooms and will be located in the center of the town.

With over 1,800 properties worldwide, Hampton Hotels are part of Hilton Worldwide, gathering 3,600 hotels with 600,000 rooms in 82 countries. The chain includes, among others, brands like Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, DoubleTree by Hilton, Embassy Suites Hotels and Hilton Garden Inn.
