Hip-Hop artist Fatman Scoop coming to Romania to perform at Bucharest club
The hip-hop promoter and radio celebrity Fatman Scoop will be performing in Bucharest, at Chaboo Club on October 5, the club confirmed. It will be the Grammy award winning artists second visit to Romania. He is best known for his 2002 hit 2003 hit 'Be Faithful,' which went to number 1 in the UK and has long been a dance floor favorite.
In 2005 his track Lose Control, with Missy Elliott and Ciara, won the Grammy for best video and was nominated for best rap song. In 2006 the same song won a Soul Train music award. The story goes that Lauryn Hill of the Fugees gave Fatman Scoop his nickname (real name Isaac Freeman III) when the two were working on a music video together.
Details about the costs of the tickets for the concert in Bucharest will be announced next week.
