How many rich people are there in Romania?
Romania had 169 people with net assets of over USD 30 million last year, eight fewer people compared to 2014.
However, another 118 Romanians will have over USD 30 million by 2025, according to a study by Knight Frank.
In Poland, the number of people with net assets of over USD 30 million is four time higher whereas in the Czech Republic the number is two times higher.
Romania also had 20 people with net assets of over USD 100 million last year, down from 48 in 2014, according to Knight Frank.
The country had two billionaires last year, but the number will grow to three in the next ten years.
The number of people with more than USD 100 million will increase to 34 over the next 10 years, according to the study.
