How many Romanian officers in NATO, EU structures?
Over 300 Romanian officers trained in local military schools are currently working in the management structures and command centers of NATO and the European Union’s military bodies, according to the Romanian Minister of Defense Mircea Dusa.
The Romanian Minister attended on Thursday, June 18, the festivities marking the end of the school year at Mihai Viteazul Military College in Alba Iulia. A total of 109 students graduated this year the military school in Alba Iulia, including 20 girls. The number of military high-shool graduates in Romania is over 800 per year.
According to Dusa, all the students who have graduated military school in Romania have passed the Baccalaureate exam in recent years.
Two large scale military exercises bring 2,500 NATO soldiers to Romania.
