How much do apartments in Bucharest cost?
The prices asked by apartment owners in central, semi-central and northern Bucharest increased on average by almost 3% in the first six months of the year.
However, prices went down by 4% for the apartments located in the city’s outskirts, according to an analysis by real estate consultancy firm HomeFinders, cited by local Mediafax.
The average price for an apartment in central Bucharest amounted to EUR 68,750 in the first six months of the year, up EUR 1,750 compared to the price in the first half of 2014. In the outskirts of Bucharest, the average price for an apartment reached EUR 50,342 in the first half of this year, down from EUR 52,650.
The volume of apartments put up for sale in central, semi-central and northern Bucharest increased by about 15% in the first half of the year, compared to the same period last year, reaching 9,379 offers.
