Hungarian hotel chain makes EUR 7 mln in Romania
Hungarian-based hotel chain Danubius ended 2014 with a EUR 7 million turnover and estimates a 30% increase for this year in Romania.
The Danubius Hotels Group owns a tourism compound with two four-star hotels and a two-star hotel with almost 400 double rooms, in Sovata, central Romania.
Between 2013 and 2014, the Danubius group invested over EUR 7 million to modernize the two-star hotel Bradet, turned into the four-star hotel Danubius Health Spa Resort Bradet, reports local Wall-street.ro.
The company plans to renovate the two-star hotel Faget and build an outdoor pool. In Romania, the group bets on medical tourism and medical spa.
