Mobile advertising network Madhouse recently opened an office in Romania’s capital Bucharest, it announced. The company will launch HBO’s first rich media campaign on mobile, according to officials quoted by local media.

“Romania is an important market for us, rich in opportunities on the mobile advertising market. Our main purpose is to build a Central – Easter European mobile ad network,” said Gábor Brindza, CEO and founder of Madhouse.

Brindza set up the company in 2010 in Hungary. It now works with a team of 10. The Bucharest team is made of two people, one of whom is sales manager Simona Otel.
