Best-selling Romanian author Igor Bergler has new book ready

31 August 2017

Romanian writer Igor Bergler, who has had an amazing success with his first novel The Lost Bible (Biblia Pierduta), has finished his second book, which will be available for pre-order starting Friday, September 1.

The Testament of Abraham (Testamentul lui Abraham) is expected to be even more surprising than Bergler’s first book, as the conspiracies are even more terrible and the mysteries are harder to solve.

Readers can pre-order the book on Litera.ro and the websites of book distributors starting September 1. They will receive the book with the author’s autograph and gift vouchers from premium partners, according to Litera publishing house.

The novel will be available in bookstores across the country from October 1.

The action in The Testament of Abraham takes places before the one in Igor Bergler’s first book The Lost Bible, being a prequel. This time, Professor Charles Baker’s adventures shift from Europe to the United States and Latin America. As was the case in The Lost Bible, the plot builds around a real, historic mystery that no one has been able to really solve until now.

Igor Bergler’s first book was very well received by the public, becoming the best-selling fiction novel by a Romanian author in the last 20 years.
