Ilona Ciausoiu leaves Philips Romania after six-year country manager mandate
Ilona Ciausoiu, who has been running Philips Romania for the last six years, has decided to leave the helm of the company. She has been working with Philips Romania for the last 13 years, having led the consumer lifestyle division for the company before being appointed country manager.
She has been offered a better position in the group but decided to refuse it and stay in Romania, according to Wall-street.ro.
She will leave Philips Romania at the beginning of May and plans to move to a new business sector.
Before joining Philips Romania, Ciausoiu was CEO and shareholder of Fort Activ Distribution, which was distributing the Tropicana beverages. She has also worked with Unilever Romania, Bel Pagette and IPCT. She holds an MBA from the Kennesaw State University in Atlanta.
