IMF mission comes to Romania at the beginning of March
An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission will come to Romania between March 2 and March 15 for the annual evaluation of the Romanian economy, said Guillermo Tolosa, IMF representative for Romania and Bulgaria. The mission will be led by Reza Baqir.
The IMF representatives will meet with the Romanian authorities, as well as representatives of unions, political parties, companies, and banks, Tolosa said.
The annual consultations are an IMF mechanism taking part in all the countries that are IMF members.
Romania ended its last IMF agreement in September last year with no official report.
