ING Bank Romania grows gross profit by 52 % after drop in risk provisions
ING Bank Romania posted a gross profit of EUR 30.4 million last year, up 52 percent on 2009. The increase was due to the drop in risk provisions, the bank has announced. Its assets grew by 9 percent in Romania, to some EUR 2.9 billion. However the bank's net revenues went down by 3 percent, as the revenues from commissions and treasury have decreased. The total revenues for 2010 reached EUR 159 million.
