Local and international cyclists will race this year on Romanian Corbu beach, in Constanta county.

Beach Race XCO, organized in Romania, is a mountain bike (MTB) cycling competition included in the international calendar of Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). It is the only bike sand race in Europe.

The route is 4.1 km long, with a 50-meter difference of level. The race addresses to both professional and amateur cyclists.

The professional cyclists who will attend this competition will obtain UCI points needed for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. Beach Race XCO will take place on April 25.
