International music and food at Bucharest Greensounds Festival this weekend

The first edition of Bucharest Greensounds Festival will be organized in Herastrau Park in Romania’s capital this weekend, according to an announcement of the Bucharest City Hall.

Subcarpati, Urma, Boogie Belgique (Belgium), Balkan Session & Adrian Naidin and Romania Groovie will perform on Friday, August 22, while Jaya The Cat, The Moorings, SHAZALAKAZOO (Serbia), E.M.I.L., Baskka, Steaua de Mare and Danaga will play in the second day of the event, on August 23.

DJ Ravin & Theodosii Spassov feat. 9 lautari & Damian Draghici (France, Bulgaria, Romania), Big Band & Irina Sarbu & Elena Morosanu & Maria Raducanu, Alexandrina, Baba ZuLa, Coma, Cuantune and Danaga are the artists that will go on stage on Sunday, August 24.

The entry is free of charge and the event’s program is 17:00 - 23:00 on Friday, and 10:00 - 23:00 on Saturday and Sunday.

The festival will also have a special area dedicated to international cuisine, where visitors can try Chinese, Italian or Indian food. There will also be a special space for Romanian brands such as Lana Balana, Fuyor, Allkimik and Denimusic.
