Intersnack takes over Nutline brand from Amir Krenzia's Alka Group
Intersnack has bought the Nutline sunflower seeds, preanuts and dried fruits brand from Alka Group, owned by Amir Krenzia, according to Ziarul Financiar. The deal was estimated at around EUR 10 million, but the two companies have not offered details.
Nutline is a brand created by Israeli businessman Amir Krenzia, the owner of Alka Group. The company has recently invested EUR 2.5 million in expanding the Nutline product range. The group also produces waffles, cakes and coffee products. Alka Grup was founded in 1994, together with the establishment of the first company in the group – Alka Co., which represented an investment of USD 6,5 million. The total investment in the group was of USD 17 million in technology.
