Iulius Group, one of the biggest real estate developers in Romania, owned by local investor Iulian Dascalu, has completed the sixth office building of the Palas Iasi real estate complex.

The building is fully let and the main tenant is UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions (UBIS), Italian group UniCredit’s service division. UBIS covers 7,800 sqm of the building’s total area of 9,300 sqm. The building was specially designed for UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions which employs 600 people.

The Palas Iasi has five other operational office buildings that host 4,800 employees.

On the office segment, Iulius Group has developed the United Business Center brand, which includes about 80,000 sqm of class A office space in Iasi and Cluj-Napoca, and another 130,000 sqm in Timisoara which are now under construction.

The group started the work on the Openville multifunctional complex in Timisoara in the fall of 2015. The project is located near the Iulius Mall Timisoara shopping center and involves an investment of over EUR 220 million.
