English actress Jane Seymour, best known for her role as Dr. Quinn, is expected in Bucharest today (Wednesday, November 13) to shoot for the romantic comedy Love by Design.

Filming will take place in Romania's capital Bucharest and in the citadel of Sighisoara, as well as in New York.

Seymour, currently 62, will go on set on Thursday, November 14, and will be filming in Bucharest only. Love by Design is directed by Michael Damian and should be launched worldwide in 2014. Several other actors are among its cast, such as Olivia Hallinan from Lark Rise to Candleford, David Oakes, as well as several Romanian actors.

The director Michael Damian (in picture, left) is known in Romania for his role on the soap opera The Young and the Restless, where he played singer Danny Romalotti, from 1980 to 1998.

Seymour, a Golden Globe winner, is known for her roles in the James Bond movie Live and Let Die from 1973, then for East of Eden (1981), Onassis: The Richest Man in the World (1988). But probabily her most famous role was that of Dr. Quinn in the American television series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (1993–1998). She has earned an Emmy Award, two Golden Globe Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
