Japanese software provider builds headquarter in Romania's Cluj-Napoca

06 June 2016

Software provider EBS Romania, part of the Japanese group NTT (Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation), has inaugurated the EBS Tower office building in Cluj-Napoca.

The 12-floor building hosts the company’s new local headquarters. About 520 people currently work there but EBS plans to further expand its team.

EBS Romania has recruited over 200 people since the beginning of the year, mainly for the office in Cluj-Napoca, but also for the company’s offices in Bucharest, Sibiu, Brasov, Iasi and Timisoara. The company still has 60 available positions in Cluj-Napoca.

The project EBS Tower was initiated two years ago. The total investment amounted to almost EUR 2 million.

The project was developed by the firm Imoinvest, part of the financial group Imofinance, controlled by the local investor Iosif Pop.
