Jean Francois Fallacher takes over helm of Orange Romania from Thierry Millet
Jean Francois Fallacher is the new CEO of telecom company Orange in Romania, the company has announced. He replaces Thierry Millet, who has been promoted within the France Telecom Orange group. He will return to France to coordinate the mobile phone payments division as well as to develop the contactless payments services across Orange's subsidiaries. Millet had joined Orange Romania in 2009, when he replaced Richard Moat.
Fallacher has been CEO of Sofrecom, the France Telecom Orange group's international consultancy company for the last six years. The new CEO takes over the helm of a subsidiary which posted revenues of EUR 222 million in the first quarter of this year, down 6 percent on the same period of last year, due to difficult economic conditions and rising inflation.
