Jeremy Stockwell's One Man Show, plays, workshops feature at Romanian Comedy Festival in Bucharest
The 11th festCO comedy festival started in Bucharest yesterday (June 16) and continues until June 23 in several venues in the capital.
This year’s festival includes plays at several theaters in Bucharest, such as the Teatrul de Comedie (the Comedy Theater), Metropolis Theater, Teatrul National Bucuresti (Bucharest National Thater) and Act Theater, as well as play-writing workshops to be organized at Teatrul de Comedie between June 19 and June 21. Also, three new books, written by Romanian Radu Beligan, Horatiu Malaele and Doina Popp, will be launched at the festival.
The Romanian Comedy Festival will end on June 23 with a One Man Show performance by British director, writer, and performer Jeremy Stockwell at 19,30, at the Comedy Theater. See the entire program of this year’s edition of the festival here (in Romanian).
Romanian Comedy Festival - festCO was founded in 2003 by Romanian actor George Mihaita, who is also the director of Teatrul de Comedie in Bucharest. The festival aims to promote Romanian script writing and the best in Romanian comedy theater.
