Jethro Tull back to Romania with Homo Erraticus tour this summer
British band Jethro Tull will be back to Romania this June for a concert, part of the tour promoting their latest album Homo Erraticus. Arriving together with lead vocalist Ian Anderson, the band is scheduled to appear in front of the Romanian crowd on June 20, at Sala Palatului downtown Bucharest, starting 20:00.
The hard rock, folk and blues concert will be accompanied by video a theater elements, according to Project Events, the show organizers.
The famous band, launched in 1967, has been mixing psychedelic blues, jazz, folk, hard rock, and electronic sounds for the last four decades. Ian Anderson, the lead singer and songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, is also known for having introduced flaut into rock music. He is also a flautist and acoustic guitarist.
The band is currently made of Ian Anderson, Florian Opahle – electric guitar, Scott Hammond – drums, John O'Hara - keyboards, David Goodier – base, and Ryan O'Donnell- who takes care of the theater part of the show.
Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull have launched 30 albums so far, and sold over 60 million copies world wide. The band won 11 gold and platinum disks.
Tickets for the show in Bucharest are available in the Biletoo network and online at Biletoo.ro, Eventim.ro, and MyTicket.ro, for prices ranging from RON 50 and RON 250.
