JW Marriott hotel in Bucharest ups turnover by 4%
Societatea Companiilor Hoteliere Grand, the company that manages the five-star hotel JW Marriott in Bucharest posted a turnover of EUR 26.1 million last year, up 4% compared to the previous year.
The firm thus registered an increase in its turnover for the fifth year in a row. The company’s net profit dropped by 15% last year to EUR 1.6 million, according to data from the Ministry of Finance.
Societatea Companiilor Hoteliere Grand is fully owned by the Austrian construction group Strabag, which also controls several construction companies in Romania.
JW Marriott has 379 rooms and 23 apartments, as well as several restaurants, event halls, and a shopping gallery.
