Kaspersky Lab’s operations in Romania to be coordinated from Kiev, local country manager leaves company
Antivirus giant Kaspersky Lab has recently announced some changes in its regional organizations, with the company’s business operations in Romania and Bulgaria being integrated in the Eastern European region and coordinated from Kiev, reads a statement of the company.
Teodor Cimpoesu, the former Country Manager Kaspersky Lab Romania and Bulgaria, has left the company after 10 years and will launch two personal projects in the IT security field and the foreign trade and business intelligence’s adjacent sector. Cimpoesu started working for the company in 2003 as Project Manager for Kaspersky Lab Romania.
The company plans also to expand its research and development lab in Bucharest this year. Kaspersky’s global research and analysis team (GReAT) is coordinated from Romania by Costin Raiu (in picture).
Kaspersky Lab is an international group operating in almost 200 countries and provides antivirus protection for over 300 million users and over 250,000 corporate clients worldwide.
