The new gross minimum income starts from RON 3,300, including meal vouchers and salary bonuses, and will come into effect from March this year, the company said.
Moreover, the new collective labor agreement will also come into force on March 1. This includes an increase of up to 20% for the cash benefits the company gives to employees for various events in their personal lives. In addition, Kaufland will also offer hygiene products packages for the employees’ newborns.
The retailer also announced that it would give a gross bonus of RON 1,000 (EUR 210), in certain conditions, to employees who recommend candidates for the available jobs in the company.
Some of the additional benefits Kaufland employees receive include voluntary health insurance, meditation and yoga classes or sabbatical leave. Moreover, each employee can take two paid days off per year to do volunteering.
