Romanian tourist train Transilvania Train will organize this year several train rides for children. The train, called Kido Express, will take several trips through the country.

The first ride is occasioned by the coming of spring and the Easter holidays and will take place between April 20 and 21. It will start from Bucharest’s Gara de Nord station and take children to the mountain city of Sinaia.

Other rides will take place during the June 1 break, between May 31 and June 2. This time, children will explore life in the forest and learn to spot various bird and plant species with the help of specialists. The route is Bucharest – Sinaia, return.

A third edition of the ride, called Kido Express Mid Summer, takes place between August 15 and August 17, on the Bucharest – Constanta route.

The final ride of 2019 is scheduled for December 20-21, when children will travel on the Bucharest – Sinaia route, and celebrate the winter holidays.

The rides are available to children and their parents. The price of a Kido Express package is of RON 700 (EUR 147). More details are available here.
