Kirsty Davidson named head of International School for Primary Education in Bucharest

Kirsty Davidson is the new head of school for the International School for Primary Education (InSPE) in Bucharest, the school has announced. She will replace Ela Robinson.

A native of Scotland, Davidson received her B. Ed from Aberdeen University and taught in Sweden and Dubai before moving to Bucharest. She has taught at InSPE for seven years, serving the last four as head of the Primary School.

Established in 1994 to for the children in the expatriate community in Bucharest, InSPE was originally known as the International Nursery School. In recent years, the school expanded to include a Primary school. It is located North of Bucharest within the new Green Lake Residences development. The staff is a mix of English, Scottish, South African, Greek and Romanian.
