La Perla boutique posts sales of EUR 280,000 in Romania in 2012, targets 8% increase this year
La Perla’s mono-brand boutique of luxurious lingerie in Bucharest recorded sales of EUR 280,000 in 2012 - the brand’s first year of activity on the Romanian market, according to the company. This year, La Perla aims to increase revenues in Romania by 8 percent compared to 2012.
The Italian brand’s first boutique in Romania, located on Calea Victoriei in Bucharest, has an area of 68 sqm. According to the company, the average value of a shopping bill is around EUR 800.
With the first La Perla store opened in 1954 in Bologna, by Ada Masotti, the network currently counts 220 stores all over the world. In 2011, La Perla had total revenues of EUR 120 million.
The brand’s lingerie boutique in Romania was opened in February 2012,under franchise.The local investor who took the franchise for Romania is Camelia Tomoiagă (in picture).
