A 330-meter long water slide will give Bucharest residents and visitors the chance to enjoy the last days of summer in a unique way. The event, called Bucharest City Wave, will take place on August 27 and August 28.

The slide, installed on Calea 13 Septembrie, near the People’s House (the Parliament's Palace) in Bucharest, is 330 meters long and has three lanes separated by inflatable cylinders. Each participant will receive a free float.

Tickets for the event cost RON 35 and can be purchased online from the event’s website and iabilet.ro, or from the entrance on the day of the event. Tickets are split into four periods of time: 09:30-12:30 (Green Interval), 09:30-12:30, (Yellow Family Interval – special lane), 13:00-16:00 (Blue Interval), and 16:30-20:30 (Dark Red Interval).

The event will also cause traffic restrictions in the area. Bucharest’s public transport company RATB announced that two of its buses, namely 136 and N121 would have their routes changed.
