Largest online retailer expands partnership with Romanian Post
Romania’s largest online retailer eMAG.ro wants to expand its partnership with the Romanian Post to 100 postal offices, said Iulian Stanciu, general manager of Dante International, the company that controls the eMAG brand.
eMAG’s partnership with the Romanian Post began in mid-2015. It included a pilot project with two postal offices. Customers were able to pick up the products they ordered online in these postal offices.
The project currently includes 14 postal offices, but it will expand to 100.
The Romanian Post is owned by the Communication Ministry, with a 75% stake, and the investment fund Fondul Proprietatea (25%).
