The last month of winter will be warm and rainy in Romania, meteorologists have announced. Average daily temperatures will range between 6 and 16 degrees Celsius between February 10 and 23 across Romania, but it will also rain.

During the first week of this period, it will be unusually warm, with temperatures ranging from 10 and 16 degrees Celsius, only to go down the week after, and then close to zero at the end of February.

The usually warm weather comes after two weeks of low temperatures and snowstorms which affected most of Romania. Now the snow has started to melt, triggering the usual worries of spring floods.
