This weekend starts with heavy rain in Romania. Meteorologists issued on Thursday morning, June 25, a Yellow Code of bad weather. The alert is available for 13 counties in central Romania, between June 25, 16:00, and June 26, 18:00.

Rain is expected in most of the country. In Transylvania, Southern Carpathians and northern Muntenia, the quantities of water will exceed 25 liters per sqm, and even 70 liters per sqm in some areas. In other regions, the rainfall will be around 20 liters per sqm.

The weather alert targets Bistrita-Nasaud, Maramures, Harghita, Covasna, Buzau, Brasov, Prahova, Dambovita, Sibiu, Arges, Valcea, Alba, and Hunedoara counties.
