Leasing company LeasePlan Romania recorded a profit of EUR 1.43 million in the first nine months of this year, and a turnover of EUR 22 million, up 33 percent compared to the same period in 2010.

The company’s portfolio also went up by 45 percent compared to first nine months of last year, up to EUR 50 million.

“The growth rate in the operational leasing market in 2011 is higher than the previous year, in line with our forecasts,” according to Bogdan Apahidean, General Manager LeasePlan Romania. At the end of September, the company was managing 6,000 vehicles, with 83 percent of them being in the full operational leasing system. LeasePlan Romania has a portfolio of 160 client companies.

LeasePlan is a Dutch company that is currently active in 30 countries and has over 6,000 employees.
