Lebanese writer and director Wajdi Mouawad, in Bucharest for public events this June
Lebanese writer, actor and director Wajdi Mouawad will be in Bucharest between June 1 and June 3 this year, while his play Seuls will be staged at Bulandra Theater in Romania’s capital. the performance is scheduled for June 2, at 19,00, according to the French Institute.
A film based on Mouawad's play Incendies will also be screened at the Elvira Popescu cinema on Sunday, June 1, 19,00. A discussion with the writer will take place after the screening.

On June 3, 11,00, Wajdi Mouawad will meet fans at the Humanitas Cismigiu bookshop, for talks about books and theater.
Mouawad was born in Lebanon in 1968. After living in France for a while, he moved to Quebec, Canada, in 1983. In 1991, he obtained his diploma from the National Theatre School of Canada. More about him, on the official website here.
