Lego Romania, the local subsidiary of Danish toy manufacturer Lego, reached a network of four mon-brand stores on the local market after the recent openings in AFI Cotroceni and AFI Ploiesti shopping centres, reports local Ziarul Financiar.
The first Lego store was opened last autumn in Promenada Mall, followed this August by the one inaugurated in Polus Center Cluj. The stores are owned by Daco Invest, a Lego Romania partner.
Lego Romania registered a 43% increase in turnover last year, to some EUR 8.7 million, while its profit went up 82%.
