Lenovo hopes to sell 3,000 Yoga multimode tablets in Romania in December

05 December 2013

Chinese tech company Lenovo hopes to sell 3,000 units of its new Yoga tablet in Romania this December after having recently launched the product on the local market.

With prices between RON 1,260 and RON 1,650 – or EUR 280 and EUR 360, the new tablets have Quad Core processors, 16 GB or 32 GB storage and run on Android.

The company highlights the tablet's multimode use, saying it decided to enter the tablet market based on estimates that demand for such products will grow.

Lenovo became the largest PC producer in the world in the second quarter of 2013, and managed to take first place in PC sales in Romania too, according to local media. However, the PC market declined by 10 percent in Romania in the third quarter of 2013, to some 160,000 units, as tablets gain more ground.
